About the founder

Khamia T. S. Montgomery is the Founder and CEO of Brwn In A Box LLC, a curated hair care service that helps people discover products that truly work for their hair while supporting small, women-owned, and Black-owned brands. Through vendor events, workshops, and community collaborations, she creates hands-on experiences where people can learn more about hair health and product discovery. Her work has also been featured in media articles highlighting her growing impact in the beauty and entrepreneurship space.

Brwn In A Box is a monthly curated hair service that allows people with textured hair types to discover new brands and hair care products each month at the user's preference. More often than not, boxes will include non-hair care products because we want our customers to be exposed to a variety of small businesses.
